Martin Collison spoke at the AFCP conference on 24th November at the Farmers Club in London on the challenges of recruiting the staff needed for a rapidly changing agricultural industry. Stressing that the types of skills needed will change, Martin explode new issues such as the potential impact of the living wage not only on farming, bit on the whole food chain and how this may lead to more automation and with this new skills needs.
